Introduction to Ruituo Lake: Ruituo Lake is the first of the seven lakes. It is located at the front of the Rilangyongcuo ancient glacier valley, with an altitude of 4,360 meters and an area of 54,000 square meters. Ruituo is also the second largest lake in the scenic area. The lake is in the shape of a long and narrow pod. The water is clear and transparent, with excellent water quality and extremely low mineralization. The lake water mainly comes from groundwater, surface ice and snow meltwater and atmospheric fall. It is formed by damming up glacial deposits on the basis of early ice-eroded lake basins. At the end of Ruicuo Lake, there is a naturally exposed spring. It is named Snake Spring because the spring resembles a snake's cave. It is an intermittent rising spring caused by tectonic formation. The waves in the lake are as flat as a mirror, and the tranquil lake surface releases layers of waves, forming a strange natural landscape in the lake.
