Introduction to Yuandang Lake: Yuandang Lake, formerly known as Yuandang Port, was originally connected to the sea. In the 1970s, land was reclaimed from the sea and a floating island was built to reach the west embankment of the eastward crossing. From then on, Yuandang Port became an inner lake.
