Introduction to Banlinggong Earth Temple: Banling Palace in Dongpingshan, Xiamen was built in the Ming Dynasty. It is also known as Fude Temple and Bogong Temple. It is a place (temple) where the people worship the "Earth God" and has been for more than 600 years. Historically, the birthday of the Earth God is the second day of February, but it is still very common for ordinary people to burn incense at the Earth Temple every first and half of the lunar month.
