Based on the scattered skeletons unearthed, it is inferred that it was a secondary burial. Among the known Banpo tombs, the secondary burial of minors is a unique burial style. To the north is a burial of an adult with his body upright and his limbs upright. Due to later damage, the skull no longer remains.
