Introduction to the relics of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda: The relics are the embodiment of the Buddha or the enlightened eminent monk’s very high conduct, and are the crystallization of their precepts, concentration, and wisdom. The crystal-clear and hard particles produced when the Buddha or eminent monk was cremated after his death are called relics. The relics of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda were donated by Master Shi Wuqian, an eminent Indian overseas Chinese monk, on June 10, 1998.
