Introduction to the stupa: The stupa was built to commemorate the monks who contributed to the prosperity of Daxingshan Temple. It is located on the west side of the temple. The relics of the eminent monk Kumarajiva are enshrined in the pagoda.
Kumarajiva was an eminent monk of the Later Qin Dynasty during the Eastern Jin Dynasty. He became a monk at a young age. He first learned the Hinayana and later the Mahayana. He was especially good at Prajna and was proficient in Chinese. He was the same as Zhenyi (499-569) and Xuanzang (602-664). Known as the three major translators of Chinese Buddhism. Its translation is concise and clear, and its wonderful meaning is clear and clear. Therefore, it is deeply loved by everyone and has been widely circulated. It has made a great contribution to the development of Buddhism.
