Introduction to the Laomu Temple: The Laomu Temple was built to commemorate the founder of the Chinese nation, Nuwa. It is said that Nuwa created human beings and refined stones to mend the sky in Mount Li. She worked hard and achieved great results. Later generations respected her as Li. Mother Shan, and commemorated it at the Nuwa Temple on Lishan Mountain.
