Introduction to singing songs: "Singing singing" was an important spring festival activity in the Tang Dynasty. During every spring outing, Chang'an officials used large carts decorated with colorful silks as towers, carrying many female musicians and singers, singing and dancing, which was a spectacular sight. The Tang Dynasty Yin Yao Fan's poem "Shangsi presented it to the master of the capital" describes that "the pommel and the horse are all competing for beauty, and the music and singing are all about luxury."
