Introduction to the historical display of coastal defense: After the basement of the fortress was renovated, a long-term exhibition is displayed, showing the history of Hong Kong’s coastal defense from the Ming and Qing dynasties, the British rule, the Anti-Japanese War, and even after the return to the motherland. Various old military facilities on the Lei Yue Mun headland, such as forts, torpedo launchers, trench forts and ammunition depots, etc., have been opened up as heritage trails, allowing visitors to experience the layout of Lei Yue Mun military facilities firsthand.
