Introduction to cultural relics: The ancient Chinese cultural relics department of the Hong Kong Museum of Art has the most diverse collections in the museum and covers the longest period. It includes Chinese ceramics, Guangdong ceramics, Chinese export ceramics, Southeast Asian ceramics, clothing and embroidery and other arts and crafts, including bronzes, jade carvings, lacquerware, enamelware, glass, bamboo carvings, woodcarvings, ivory, rhino horns, snuff bottles and furniture, etc. More than 4,000 crafts, whether used for decoration, daily use, worship, or tombs, are historical and cultural properties that have been preserved for thousands of years.
