Introduction to the ancient city: The ancient city of Liye is an important border town on the Youshui River. It is historically known as the "Tongjin between Chu and Shu". It uses Youshui as a barrier and relies on Bamian Mountain as a natural barrier. It was built by the Chu State in the middle and late Warring States Period. It was used in the Qin and Han Dynasties and was abandoned in the early Western Han Dynasty.
