Introduction to Wensheng Temple: It was first built in April of the fifth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1372). It has been built repeatedly since then. It now occupies half an hectare and faces south. In front of the gate is the Waipan Pool, and behind the pool is an east-west road. On the stone paved official road, there are horse dismounting squares at both ends with the inscription "civilians dismount their sedan chairs and military attachés dismount their horses." Behind the corridor is a large stone step. On the step stands the Lingxing Gate with the four characters "Taihe Yuanqi" written on it. On the left is "Daoguan Guanguanguan" and on the right is "Virtue Matches Heaven and Earth". The entrance is the inner Panchi, and there is the Zhuangyuan Bridge. Across the bridge is the Dacheng Hall, which is the place for the memorial tablet of Confucius. Behind it is the Chongsheng Hall. In addition, there are Minglun Hall, Xingshizhai, Chenglezhai, Shepu and other ancillary buildings. The entire holy temple is magnificent, with towering pavilions and pavilions. Its scale is the highest among ancient buildings in Miancheng.
