Introduction to Shengshou Temple: Shengshou Temple, also known as Xianyan Temple, is the largest ancient jungle temple in southern Zhejiang and is located at the southern foot of Jicui Peak in Daluo Mountain. The temple was built in the 8th year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty. Master Huitong Guiyi built the temple in the middle of the Tang Dynasty. It became a large-scale temple and was honored as the founder. In the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty, the eminent monk Surangyan'an worked hard for several years. Zhongxing expanded and built Xianyan Temple into the largest ancient temple in southern Zhejiang. In 1009, Zhenzong granted him the title of "Shengshou Zen Temple". During Xining, he also received the title of "Zhaode Jiqing Zen Temple" personally written by Shenzong. The temple now has seven temples, more than 30 monks, and covers an area of more than 30,000 square meters.
