Introduction to the ruins of Gaozhuang: Gaozhuang is also known as Xixi Villa, commonly known as Xizhuang. Built between 1657 and 1664, it was Gao Shiqi's villa in Xixi during the Qing Dynasty. The restored Gaozhuang now consists of Gaozhai, Bamboo Windows, Nianhua Bookstore, Tongyintang, Jiaoyuan Poetry Society and other buildings, recreating the historical scene when Kangxi visited Gaozhuang.
