Introduction to the Cliff Plank Road: The hanging village is built on the cliff, all facing the canyon. There is no yard in front of the house, only a wooden corridor less than one kilometer long. This corridor is the only road that runs through the village and is one of the oldest buildings here. It is made by each family laying timber horizontally and vertically outside the corridor to form an aerial trestle, which is then supported by standing timber. Walking on the trestle is thrilling, but it is the best experience to understand the hanging village.
