Introduction to the statue of Mi Fu: The First Mountain is famous for the "Poem of Ten Scenes of Xuyi" written by Mi Fu, a great calligrapher and painter of the Song Dynasty, and has an indissoluble bond with him. In order to commemorate him, people set up a statue of him in the scenic area. Around the base of the statue are engraved Mi Fu quatrains, most of which chant about the first mountain.
