Introduction to Dashu Rock: Dashu Rock was built by Jiang Zhuo, the magistrate of Xuzhou, in the 58th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1719 AD). It was originally the monk's residence in Fanghe Pavilion. When digging the foundation for the construction of the monk's house, a huge stone about eight feet long was discovered. Jiang Zhuo instructed the workers to carve a statue of Guanyin. There was a white stripe in the original stone, running across the waist. It was named Guanyin with Jade Belt, and it was collectively called the Palace of Guanyin. There are two ancient cypresses planted in the Tuas Rock courtyard in the Qing Dynasty, which have a history of hundreds of years.
