Introduction to Sterling Memorial Library: With a collection of more than four million books, Sterling Memorial Library is the largest library at Yale University. Built in 1931, the architectural style is Gothic and also designed by James Gamble Rogers. Built in memory of John William Sterling, who donated most of his wealth to Yale.
