Introduction to the former site of Jiefang Daily: The former site of Jiefang Daily is located at the foothills on the east side of Qingliang Mountain. The four characters "Liberation Daily" are engraved on the stone on the doorstep of the old site, which is Mao Zedong's handwriting. Next to the Yanhui River at the foot of Qingliang Mountain, there is an archway. On both sides of the archway are engraved: "Two waters surround the seat and look at the smoke beside the Jialing Tower in the morning. Eight sceneries surround the mountain and look at the moon at the Phoenix Tower at night." The banner reads: "Coolness is the first ". There are several grottoes on the cliff of the archway. After the Party Central Committee arrived in Yan'an, Xinhua Bookstore was born here on April 24, 1937.
