Introduction to the square in front of the museum: There is a large square built outside the Yan'an Revolution Memorial Hall, with a bronze statue of Mao Zedong standing tall on the square. The base of the bronze statue is engraved with "Mao Zedong in Yan'an" written by General Secretary Jiang Zemin.
