Introduction to Lingyan Temple: Lingyan Temple is located in the inner ring of 102 peaks at the foot of Pingxiazhang, Lingtou, Yandang Mountain Township, 29 kilometers northeast of Yueqing City. It ranks first among the eighteen temples in Yandang Mountain. Surrounded by mountains and with a quiet environment, it is one of the "Three Wonderful Sceneries" of Yandang. The temple was founded in 979. At its peak, it had more than a hundred houses and thousands of volumes of scriptures. It was called the "First Temple in the Southeast" at that time.
