Introduction to Tanah Lot Temple: Tanah Lot Temple, also known as the "Temple Palace", was first built in 1730 AD. It was ordered by Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty and supervised by state funds. It is a temple dedicated to worshiping the "God of Zhejiang Sea" "Palace-like architecture.
Tanah Lot Temple originally covered an area of 40 acres. After suffering several wars, the current area accounts for about 1/3 of the original area. Important parts of the temple are constructed with high-quality white marble and other building materials. The paintings inside the temple are all modeled after traditional patterns used exclusively by the Chinese royal family. The temple also preserves five imperial plaques given by the four emperors of the Qing Dynasty, Yongzheng, Qianlong, Daoguang and Tongzhi. Yongzheng and The imperial monument of father and son, jointly inscribed by Qianlong, shows the unusual royal demeanor of Tanah Lot Temple, known as the "Forbidden City in the south of the Yangtze River".
