Introduction to Ouyang Temple: Ouyang Temple, also known as Ouyang Wenzhong Temple and Liuyi Temple, is located in the north of Gulin Hall. Ouyang Xiu was a famous writer, historian, and leader of the poetry innovation movement in the Northern Song Dynasty. He was also one of the Eight Great Masters of the Tang and Song Dynasties. He once served as the governor of Yangzhou. In order to commemorate Ouyang Xiuzhi's virtues in Yangzhou, Yangzhou people built a temple in the "Old City" at that time. However, the temple fell into disuse over time and was moved to the back of Pingshan Hall. Ouyang Temple faces south and is large in scale and tall. There are stone carvings of Ouyang Xiu on display in the temple. The stone carvings are exquisitely crafted. Due to the principle of reflection, Ouyang Xiu's beard appears white when viewed from a distance and black when viewed up close. It is a masterpiece handed down from generation to generation.
