Introduction to Xiyuan Fangpu: Xiyuan Fangpu is located on the west side of Pingshan Hall of Daming Temple. It was built by Wang Yinggeng, a wealthy man from Yangzhou, during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty. In the fifth year of Qianlong's reign, there was a famine in Huaihe and Huaihe Rivers. Wang Yinggeng donated money alone to save hundreds of thousands of hungry people. The villagers erected four stones of Wang Yinggeng's "Stele of Merits for Famine Relief", but unfortunately none of them exist today. Later, Wang Yinggeng continued to build the imperial garden. By the 16th year of Qianlong's reign, when the emperor came to Yang for the first time, Fangpu had become more and more attractive. Nowadays, the garden has been repaired many times, with beautiful mountains and rivers, pavilions and pavilions scattered here and there, covering each other, making people relaxed and intoxicated.
