Introduction to Gaoyou Lake: The ancient name of Gaoyou Lake is Fanliang Lake, also known as Xinkai Lake. It is connected to the Hongze Lake water system in the north, the Yangtze River water system in the south, Gaoyou, Jiangsu Province in the east, and Tianchang, Anhui Province in the west. It is called the Hanging Lake because the water level is higher than the canal.
