Introduction to the canal: At the southern end of Shaobo Town, there is still a section of the old canal from the Ming and Qing Dynasties that is about one kilometer long and about 30 meters wide. The old canal course starts from a control gate in Shaobo Town in the north and ends at Nantangkou in the south. There are canal embankments from the Ming and Qing Dynasties on both sides.
