Introduction to Shibi Liugong: Shibi Liugong is one of the twenty-four scenic spots of the Qing Dynasty. It was originally the villa of Xu Shiye, a great salt merchant in the Qing Dynasty. Emperor Qianlong came here and gave it the name "Shizhuju". Professor Zhou Ruchang, a Hong Kong scholar, once pointed out that the most important scenes in "A Dream of Red Mansions" - the interior of Yihong Courtyard and the exterior of Xiaoxiang Pavilion, were based on the Shuizhu Residence in Yangzhou. This shows the reputation of the flowing water on the stone wall.
