Introduction to the Southern Tour: Kangxi once gave Tianning Temple four plaques and two couplets. Qianlong also gave seven plaques and eight couplets. Both his ancestors and his grandson wrote poems praising the temple. Now there is a stone tablet with an inscription made during the southern tour preserved in the temple.
