Taiping Morning Bell Bell Tower Introduction: The Taiping Morning Bell was cast in 1998 with donations from many pilgrims and lay people. It weighs 1.35 tons, has a simple shape and a rich sound. The inscription on the bell explains that its function is to "awaken the ancients, inform them about the good things, and spread the spirit to benefit Xiaoze". The bell rings at six o'clock every morning to wake up citizens to start a new day of life and work.
