Introduction to the West Terrace: The West Terrace is also called Xie Ao Terrace. Xie Ao, a survivor of the Southern Song Dynasty, cried bitterly here facing the north in the 26th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1290) to pay homage to the patriotic hero Wen Tianxiang.
