Introduction to the tomb: The mausoleum is made of loess and covered with lush green cypresses. A regular road has been built along the mound. Visitors can conveniently walk around the mound to pay their respects along the road. According to legend, when Emperor Yao passed away, all the people mourned. On the day of the funeral, people came from all directions to bring handfuls of soil to the mausoleum, and the soil accumulated into a mountain, making it the tallest mausoleum among the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors.
