Introduction to the Yellow River Rafting Expedition Monument: From April 30 to September 25, 1987, the Henan Yellow River Rafting Expedition team went from the source of the Yellow River in the Bayan Har Mountains at an altitude of 5,000 meters to the delta of Kenli County on the coast of the Bohai Sea. At the mouth of the sea, the entire journey of 5,464 kilometers and a drop of 4,831 meters was completed for the first time for humans to drift on the Yellow River without power tools, achieving the feat of conquering the Yellow River by the people of the Central Plains in the history of river rafting in China.
