Introduction to Ye Xuecheng's Tomb: The joint tomb of Ye Xuecheng and his wife is located in the mountains of Yangfu Mountain and was moved here in 1976. Ye Xuecheng (1827-1894), also known as Pinjin and Lisheng, was awarded the fourth rank of Tongzhi by the Qing Dynasty for leading the people of Puzhou in fighting against British pirates and merchants who plundered the coastal villages of Wenzhou during the Second Opium War.
