Introduction to Zhixi Pavilion: "Zhixi Pavilion" is located on the top of Sanyou Cave on the peak facing the mouth of Xialaoxi. It has triple eaves, gold tiles and red railings, and is composed of three pavilions in the shape of "pin". The pavilion was first built. In the Song Dynasty, Zhu Qingji, the governor of Xiazhou (now Yichang), built it on the bank of the river to facilitate boatmen and business travelers to rest. In the fourth year of Jingyou's reign (1037), when the writer Ouyang Xiu was appointed magistrate of Yiling County, he wrote "Xiazhou Zhixi Pavilion" specifically for this pavilion, making this pavilion one of the three most scenic spots in Xiazhou in the Song Dynasty.
