Kurdening Scenic Area Introduction: Kurdening Scenic Area is located in the southeastern mountainous area of Gongliu County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, within the West Tianshan National Nature Reserve, in the wide valley between the mountains on the south side of the Dajiergelang Canyon. The valley is about 14 kilometers, the widest point is about 1 kilometer, and the average altitude of the valley bottom is 1,500 meters. Kurdenin means "Henggou" in Kazakh.
Kurdning has warm winters and cool summers, with a pleasant climate all year round. It combines the charm and elegance of Jiangnan mountain villages with the broad and rough grassland scenery. It also has the largest virgin spruce forest in the country, attracting more and more people with its otherworldly natural landscape. More and more domestic and foreign tourists come here for sightseeing.
