Introduction to Zheng He: Zheng He (1371-1433), formerly known as Ma Sanbao, was a Hui nationality in Yunnan and a famous navigator, diplomat and eunuch in the Ming Dynasty. He made seven voyages to the Western Ocean from 1405 to 1433, completing a great feat in human history. He was more than 80 years earlier than the Western explorer Vasco da Gama, Columbus and others, and was of extremely far-reaching and important historical significance. To this day, Zheng He is still praised by people, and July 11 is designated as "Navigation Day" every year.
