Phoenix Monument Introduction: The Phoenix Monument, the national unity monument, stands at the west entrance of the city. The monument is about 20 meters tall. It is a reinforced concrete structure with a unique shape. The main body is composed of two parallel square cement columns in light red and light green. The tops are connected and form a semicircle. There is a hollow space between the two columns, like a long and narrow monument. arch. On the inner walls of the two pillars at the top of the arch, there is a female statue on each side, symbolizing the Hui and Han people; the two statues each stretch out a hand to hold a red and blue ball, symbolizing national unity. On the semicircular top of the monument stands a lifelike stainless steel phoenix, about 3 meters high, with its head facing the east.
