Introduction to the attic: In the third year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1739), a major earthquake occurred in Yinchuan. The city was completely destroyed and the city gate collapsed. Subsequently, it was rebuilt in the fifth year of Qianlong's reign, but was destroyed by war in the third year of Xuantong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1911). The current building was rebuilt by the Ningxia local government in 1917.
