Introduction to The Orioles in the Willows: The Orioles in the Willows is located in the northwest of Wenyuan Pavilion and was built in 1763 (the 28th year of Qianlong's reign). Among the willow shades by the stream, a white marble stone square was erected. The lintel of the square is inscribed with the words "Welcome the Orioles in the Waves of the Willows", which slightly imitates the scene of the same name in Hangzhou's West Lake. This square was once scattered in Langrun Garden of Peking University, and was transported back to Yuanmingyuan in 1977. It is now displayed on the north side of the ruins of Haiyan Hall of Xiyanglou.
