Introduction to the Thatched Cottage Knotting Method: It is said that when the second ancestor Hui Ke entered the Dabie Mountains, he passed on the Dharma to the Yushan area of the Jade Expo Park in the Dabie Mountains. He rested under an ancient willow tree and met the Buddha's teachings in a dream, and saw a peaceful scene: a farmer. Working and singing in the tea garden, wearing simple clothes and having difficulty eating, but extremely happy. It is clear in my heart that "Zen" is not in heaven or earth, but in the world. Huike immediately decided to settle in the mountains to rest his soul, build a house to teach the Dharma, meditate on boulders, and knock wooden fish. No one knew what he was thinking. As time passed, two red silver carps swam beside me, nodding their heads when chanting sutras, being quiet while meditating, and jumping while singing. Suddenly one day, there was lightning and thunder, a heavy rain came, and the river swelled. The small fish rose into the sky, turned into a small dragon, circled, said goodbye to the two groups, and headed east.
