Introduction to the Monument of King Yu: It is located on the pale purple stone wall at the top of Yuelu Mountain, facing east. The inscription records and praises Dayu's great achievements in flood control. The Yuelu Yu Monument is 1.7 meters high and 1.4 meters wide. The inscription is divided into 9 lines, each line has 9 characters, totaling 77 characters. The last line has four blank characters. The writing is shaped like a tadpole, which is different from either the oracle bone bells and tripods or the tadpoles of Zhouwen. It is difficult to identify and there are different opinions.
