Introduction to Xiyuan Cave: Xiyuan Cave is 80 meters long and 20 to 32 meters wide, and is connected up and down with Huangni Cave. The cave spring has gurgling water all year round and is dotted with scenic spots, mostly animal-shaped stalactites. It is known as the "Animal World". The rhinoceros sticks out its sharp horn, and the tiger opens its mouth and engages in a duel; above it, a big fat pig watches from a high position, and a centipede crawls out to watch the fun. This is the scene of "sitting on the mountain and watching the tiger fight". There are also hens holding eggs, eagles attacking chicks, tengu looking at the moon, camels, owls, mandarin ducks playing in the water, carps on the beach, snails, hornet nests, pangolins eating ants, suckling swallows returning to their nests and other animal scenery and rocks, which are very realistic.
The stone bells and stone waterfalls in the cave are also very strange. The stone bells are hung on the top of the cave and are struck with stones. The sonorous sound lingers endlessly and is leisurely and sweet. Therefore, there is a saying that the sound of bells and drums in Yuhua Cave is said. The stone waterfall is 17 meters high and 13 meters wide. It is like a waterfall falling from the sky and flowing straight down. It is a rare spectacle.
There is a set of caves to the west of the stone waterfall, called "Guanghan Palace", also known as "Moon Palace". There are thousand-year-old banyan trees, sweet-scented osmanthus trees, Wu Gang, Jade Rabbit and other stone scenes in the cave; in addition, there are bright moon falling over the river, fairy boots, Zhonglu Mission, Twelve Breasts, Qingtuo Rock, Dew Plate, Ma Liang's Magic Pen, Eighteen Arhats, Boy Worshiping Guanyin, Dinosaur Fossils, Motian Ridge, Mushroom Mountain, Money Tree, Wuni River, Earth God, Fu Dilong, Sun Wukong Pressure Stone scenery in Mount Wutai.
The passage from Xiyuan Cave to Baiyun Cave is 50 meters long, 15 to 20 meters wide, and 4 to 5 meters high. The ceiling is covered with shell nests, and the floor is made of travertine boards, which is called the "underground dance hall."
