Introduction to the former residence of Baweizu: The former residence of Baweizu is located in Zhongjie, facing south, with three entrances: front, middle and back. It was built in the early Qing Dynasty and is the largest existing ancient residence in Yuliang Street. Ba Weizu, whose given name is Yu borrowed, also named Zian, Jintang, Juntang, and Lianfang, was a famous calligrapher and seal carver during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. His seals are exquisitely conceived, elegant in workmanship, diverse in composition, and full of changes. Later generations praised his seals for their "skillful craftsmanship and harmony with nature, and those who look at them will never run out of interest."
