It is decorated with rainbow colors to connect the sun and the moon, representing the reunion of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl on the Chinese Valentine's Day. The rainbow represents the colorful weaving work of the Weaver Girl, the seven cables represent the colorful threads, and the shape of the seven giant "embroidery needles" with a steel structure shows the folk begging culture of "tying colorful threads through seven-hole needles." Every year during the Chinese Valentine's Day, many couples pass through this tunnel toward the sacred palace of marriage.
