The first introduction to Xishan: According to legend, Zhu Xi, an acting scholar of the Song Dynasty, took a canopy boat down the west stream of the Jiulong River to the prefecture of Zhangren. He walked to the foot of Yundong Rock, looked at the beauty of Yundong Rock in the distance, and praised repeatedly: "What a wonderful peak." Later, Zhu Xi visited Yanshan Mountain many times and wrote many inscriptions. The most comprehensive one is the four characters "Xishan No. 1" inscribed on the boulder opposite "Xiawo".
