Introduction to the cross-sea embankment: Zhanjiang East Island is located in the southeast of Zhanjiang City. It and the South Island together form the gateway to Zhanjiang Port. Since the construction of the cross-sea embankment in 1958, Donghai Island is no longer an isolated island.
