Introduction to the Qianlong Stele: The full name of the Gedeng Stele is "Pingding Junggarle Inscription Climbing Stele". The inscription was personally written by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty and is a giant granite stele. The stele is 2.95 meters high, 0.83 meters wide and 0.27 meters thick. The forehead of the stele is engraved with a dragon, the front is engraved with "Huang Qing", the back is engraved with the word "Eternal", and the inscription is a relief pattern of the sun rising over the East China Sea. The front is in Manchu and Chinese, and the back is engraved in four languages: Mongolian and Tibetan. The full text is arranged vertically, with a total of more than 210 words in Chinese. It mainly records the process and achievements of the Qing army's massacre of Dawaqi, the leader of the Junggar tribe, in rebellion.
