Zhenbao Island Post Introduction: The border guards stationed on Zhenbao Island are the border guards of the Shenyang Military Region of the People's Liberation Army. They patrol the island every day and check the Zhenbao Island embankment. The post has complete military and living facilities. In 2008, it was rated as a "Red Flag Post" by the Heilongjiang Provincial Military Region. In March 1969, China and the Soviet Union had a serious border armed conflict in the Zhenbao Island area. After the tenacious struggle of the soldiers, they finally won the victory in the self-defense counterattack.
