Introduction to the lecture hall: is the place where Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi, the "Neo-Confucianists" of the Song Dynasty, taught students. It is a three-room wide building with a hard-mounted rolling shed. The hall is equipped with teaching aids such as lesson plans, desks, and chairs. The east gable wall of the hall is painted with a lecture map of "Er Cheng". The west gable wall introduces the list and biographies of those who taught at Songyang Academy in the Song Dynasty, the characteristics of the academy's teaching, and the evolution of the ancient Chinese academic system.
