Introduction to Zhongyuan Cave: Zhongyuan Cave, also known as Zhongyuan Temple, was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. It was known as "Beidong" and "Zhonghe Cave" in ancient times. It is one of the three coexisting religions in the Qinglong Cave ancient building complex. The Buddhist holy land currently has buildings such as the Mountain Gate, the Great Buddha Hall, the Sutra Library, the Wangxing Tower, the One-Pillar Pavilion, the Cave Gate Archway, and the Hexagonal Pavilion.
The gate of Zhongyuan Zen Temple was built at the entrance of Shijie Cave. There is a stone lintel carved during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty "The first cave in Guizhou". The Zhongyuan Cave on the cliff behind the left side of the Great Buddha Hall has three entrances: north, west and south. There are many cliffs and poem monuments inscribed by predecessors in the cave. At the west entrance of the cave, there is a stone bed where it is said that the famous Taoist Zhang Sanfeng of Wudang Mountain traveled here to practice. Above the stone bed are "relics" such as baggage, umbrellas, straw sandals and other "relics" that Zhang Sanfeng left when he left. "The stalactites are stunning in both form and spirit.
